About Me

 Thanks for taking the time to get to know me a little better! 

I have been teaching for 7 years and absolutely adore it! I have taught preschool, Art K-5 and Kindergarten - Kindergarten is where my heart is! I feel blessed everyday to have a job that I love so much and to be doing something good in the world. 

This year I will be taking a year off to stay home with our baby boy. If he is as wiggly out of the womb as he is in then I will be a pretty busy mama! I look forward to the opportunity to create even more teaching materials and volunteer at my school. There is no way I will be able to go a year without seeing my old students and meeting the new year of Kinders!

 Another love of mine is art. I absolutely love creating things for my classroom, family and friends. All of our friends get an oil painting for their wedding gifts :)

I can never get enough of a good book! 

I hope to help my students love books as much as I do.

I love cooking, baking and trying new recipes. I've found that sweet treats warm my co-teachers and my husband's employees hearts alike :) Canning also makes great Christmas gifts!

I was so excited when my husband came home and told me he'd heard about this new site that sold things teachers created. That is how I discovered Teachers pay Teachers. What a great way for me to share the things I love creating for my classroom with others!
