Hello and welcome to my first ever Link-up Party!
With the school year under way it's time to start thinking about establishing Literacy Center routines. Personally I always start the first week of school with a very basic version of centers to help the students get used to rotating through centers. In the beginning my centers consist of things like pattern blocks, puzzles, play dough with letter stampers etc. I have the students rotate one to two times, depending on the class and how much time we have. As the month progresses I will begin teaching them how to follow the Literacy Center chart and practice rotating on their own. I will blog more about that later on.
Please link-up with a Literacy Center product from your store! To link-up just click on the "Add Your Link" button, paste in your product's URL and then put the name of your product. Your email will remain anonymous. Follow the steps to select a photo and you are ready to go!
I would love to hear how you begin Literacy Centers in your classroom! Please leave your comments below :)
